Founder and Executive Director

Kristi McClamroch, PhD, MPH
Kristi received her BS in Mathematics and her MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan, and her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina. Her prior roles include HIV Surveillance Coordinator at the Michigan Department of Community Health, HIV/STI Researcher at the University of North Carolina, Assistant Professor at the University of Albany, and Director of Youth Development at a non-profit organization in Albany, New York. She has worked in a variety of locations around the world, including New Orleans, Detroit, Albany, Madagascar, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, and Haiti. She lives in the Bay Area with her husband and daughter, their lizard Lemons, and their two rats, Kermit and Frog. She is dedicated to using epidemiology as a vehicle for critical thinking, and to supporting other public health professionals.
